Title: Chat Up
Challenge: Old Joke
Team: Death Eaters
Length: 5 X 100
Rating: R
A/N: I ran out of time before the challenge was officially over, but I just had to get in my favourite bad joke. Come to think on it, it’s the only joke I actually know by heart… Also, a nod to Victoria Wood’s classic series, Dinnerladies.

Just a little thing I was working on. I want to get it off my ‘work in progress’ file.
2013-01-27 Never Before And Never Again
Severus opened his eyes, and wished he hadn’t.
Pillock.
A groan drifted from the sepulcher of his suffering body. He wondered when one got old enough to know better. Apparently he’d not yet reached that august age.
Never again. I mean it, this time.
He rolled over, wincing. Chasing firewhisky with gillywater – what was he thinking?
Never again will I let that wild-haired little witch goad me—
A soft, warm body snuggled against his shoulder, wild-haired, naked. “Never again what?”
He froze. “Did we—?”
“Oh, yeah,” Hermione purred. “So what are you never doing again?”
He smiled. “Never mind.”
The Witchhiker’s Guide To Beltane
Summary: Wizarding Britain, ten years after the war. Things are good, but the Ministry thinks what’s needed is a good old fashioned Beltane revel. Hogwarts is just the place to do it. In the meantime, Severus isn’t enjoying life right now; he’s the subject of Rita Skeeter’s new tell-all book. And don’t get Hermione started on how Ron continues to make her life a misery. Perhaps this Beltane stuff may just be the ticket to help them out as well. Written for Jenidralph in the winter 2013 LiveJournal SSHG_Prompfest.

Every Day Is Saturday
Summary: Snape finally found the strength to go on without Lily, but what really is there left to do? Life can turn on a sixpence, even on a dead ordinary, rainy Saturday…
Characters:: Hermione Granger, Severus Snape
Genres: Friendship, Humor, Romance Warnings: none
This little story was written for the Inaugural SSHG_Promptfest 2013, based on a prompt from an_oesis: One day in their life together. Apprentice and master, man and wife, unlikely flatmates, or maybe just colleagues – twenty four hours in their world. May I just say that the characters in this story are the property of JK Rowling, and that I make no money from this story. I just make friends and hopefully people smile from it.
Many thanks as always to the breathtaking stgulik, for her beta work and friendship. A good beta is essential, but a beta like stgulik is a gift of the gods.
